Their frustrated, angry journey into a brighter future.

More Wovenwar More Wovenwar

On the surface, Wovenwar may appear to be a metalcore supergroup. But if listeners weren’t convinced by the industrial-tinged intro, then the un-pinnable riffs and vocal melodies that follow will destroy all their preconceptions.

While the album is still anchored in post-hardcore, this band of veterans have bucked the trend and introduced melody, harmony and overall dynamics beyond what anyone was expecting, most prominent in Shane Blay’s hauntingly sublime vocals. Album closer Onward sums it all up – these guys have been through absolute hell, and this empowering album is their frustrated, angry journey into a brighter future.
