Briefly describe the design/atmosphere of the bar? A comfy and relaxed bar serving up standard and craft brews, whiskies and a neat wine list; stylish bistro selling quality pub classics and seasonal specials; and a lush beer garden.

Tell us about your whisky selection? We are very lucky to be guided in our whisky selection by the wonderful Scott Fitzsimons. Our current list is: Glen Moray 10yrs, The Peat Monster, Aberlour 12yrs, Glenfiddich 12yrs, GlenDronach 15yrs, Ardmore Peated, Strathisla 12yrs, Dalwhinnie 15yrs, The Hakushu Distiller Reserve, Talisker Port Ruighe, Nikka From The Barrel, Lagavulin 16yrs and Secret Stills, distilled 1988, bottled 2011.

Does the bar offer food? Yes, we offer a wide range of food: tasty share plates and boards, good quality pub classics, an ever-changing range of seasonal specials, yummy well priced weekday lunch options, as well as a daily special from our smoker, and some really naughty desserts.

What makes your bar different? We’re one of the best beer gardens in Sydney. We truly have something for everyone, with many distinct spaces within the hotel. Our long-running trivia night (Mondays) is legendary. We do big group get-togethers really well, with capacity for about 250 people.
