BAR SIDE

The Darcy family bring their love of good food and wine to the thriving promenade on the Yarra’s edge. With interior inspired by the 1920s industrial flair of polished brass, exposed beams and inspired heritage features, Melbourne Public celebrates the best of Melbourne’s past and present.

There are plenty of special wines and cold craft ciders and beers to choose from, while jugs containing Pimm’s, ginger ale, lemonade, mint leaves with zesty fruit slices are designed for sharing in the sunlight. With a retractable roof that is able to alter the space depending on the weather and a large TV screen, the ground floor terrace with city and river backdrop views in particular is the perfect outdoor space for summer.
