Briefly describe the design/atmosphere of the bar? The space is perched in the top of the building, showing exposed brick and pushing into 'New York loft' territory, without the clichéd evocations that generally support the use of the descriptor. The atmosphere pushes from chilled vibes to a more upbeat 'get out of your stool and boogie' feel.

Does the bar have a music component? Most days we have anything from left field hip hop and beats to some of Melbourne's finest electronic music producers. Every night it is something different, but most nights are popular. Best to get on the Facebook to check.

What drinks are you serving? Do you have a specialty? Our bar staff are knowledgeable and experienced cocktail makers (no mixologist wankers, pfft) and also music lovers so it's a fine mix of quality drinks of all kinds and down to earth mentality.

Does the bar offer food? If so what style and what's your specialty? Hells yeah. We do gourmet hot-dogs all day, but many flavours, with vego and vegan options. On Sundays we have pop-up kitchens from some of Melbourne's greatest food vans and travelling kitchens.

Briefly describe the crowd that frequents your bar? We like our crowd, they're usually friendly and fun and out to have a good time. Because most of our nights can vary depending on the music and who's playing, our crowd can vary in sociographics, however they're always great which is what can make our bar rock solid.

Who's cooking and pouring and what makes them special? Chop Chop is our hot-dog guru and owner of Captain Cannonball food truck. He's always thinking of new ways to flavour a hot-dog and he's fun to be around. All our bar staff are champions so it's hard to single anyone out to rave about in a short space.
