"Nicholson takes his audience on a journey through life’s ups and downs from a 20-something, gay man’s Gen Y perspective"
From Rhys Nicholson’s look to his stage presence and joke delivery, it’s easy to accept that this comedian will leave a memorable legacy.
Nicholson takes his audience on a journey through life’s ups and downs from a 20-something, gay man’s Gen Y perspective. He perfectly sums up his generation’s inherent narcissism, complaining and inability to put in a hard day’s work, giving hilarious insights into working shit jobs in one’s youth as well as dating and relationships in the gay world, including many a penis joke, which the audience clearly enjoyed. He ended positively concluding that gay rights are improving, cleverly lacing the point with his signature cynicism.
