Adventures In Hair

"Utterly hilarious play" with "a superb collection of hats".

This fast-paced, low-tech, utterly hilarious play, Adventures In Hair, recounts the little known history of the Dutch invasion of the Portuguese colony in Macau.

Sporting a superb collection of hats and a remarkably clever, nuanced and yet exceptionally silly script, three actors take on an army of characters (literally) and stage the most entertaining history lesson I have ever seen. This show has the charming quality of being completely unassuming, it isn’t a big budget show (and the look on their faces when a prop broke was priceless) but the performers are completely committed, have wonderful comic timing and are obviously having just as much fun as the audience.
