Fancy Boy

"Something fucking different."

There’s a reason dozens of comedians are loitering outside the venue wearingartist passes and hopeful expressions, fingers crossed they can snap up the last few seats.

This rave-reviewed Gibbo-winning show deserves its growing rep. MC Stuart Daulman presides over a theatre of the bizarre, populated by warped characters that crawled from the brains of masterminds Greg Larsen, John Campbell, Jonathan Schuster and Henry Stone. The laughs are near-constant and the whole show has a ‘what happens at Fancy Boy stays at Fancy Boy’ vibe, and secrecy is best for maintaining the shock and awe this show trades on – but if you like your humour twisted, if you like seeing dicks and arseholes (literal, not metaphorical), you’ll dig this. Remember the ‘90s, when comics started doing ‘alternative comedy’ and now everyone’s doing ‘alternative comedy’? Well, this is something fucking different. Get into it.
