Ball Park Music Tour Diary: Part Two

"When you are sitting backstage in a dressing room that has played host to so many incredible artists, its easier to picture yourself as an alcoholic frog wearing a white suit."

This week, we spent three days in Coffs Harbour before our gig at the Hoey Moey. We hit up the beach and went to see a man about a dog. This photo features members of Papa vs Pretty and Ball Park Music, as well as a couple of members of our awesome crew, nerding out over a pocket piano. This went on for easily over an hour.

While the others lost their shit over the pocket piano, these two sat and spoke about deeper more meaningful issues. Antho (on the right) and Dan (on the left) are from the rare breed we like to refer to as 'drummers'. Once they've watched a single video of Tony Royster Jr or similar, there is no stopping their conversation train.

This picture also features some drummers. Strathie from Holy Holy and Myers from Papa vs Pretty posing for me at the Tivoli. The support bands on this tour are incredible. All lovely fellas and also insanely good musicians. It's an absolute pleasure watching them nail it every night.

The Tivoli in Brisbane is such a beautiful venue. This was our third time headlining this amazing room and it never loses its charm. This picture is Paul sitting in our dressing room before the show. His shirt is a picture of a frog drinking a martini and wearing a white suit next to the quote 'born to be cool'.
