Pioneering metalcore masters Killswitch Engage have been threatening to release a new album for some time now and today we can announce that said new album, the band's sixth, will be called Disarm The Descent and will be released through Roadrunner Records/Warner Music on Friday 29 March.

Recently Killswitch Engage reunited with their original vocalist Jesse Leach and this will be their first record with Leach on vocals since the practically genre-defying 2002 release Alive Or Just Breathing. One would imagine the band would have a renewed sense of freshness and enthusiasm with Leach back in the fold for the first time in a decade but we will get to see and hear that for ourselves soon enough.

The band will be here for the sold out Soundwave Festival dates soon, they are listed below in case you've forgotten them, and you can expect to hear In Due Time, the first single from it, around Friday 8 February.
