Brodie's fifth album spans a fair amount of time.

One of Melbourne's favourite songwriters, Dan Brodie, will be celebrating the release of his fifth studio album Deep Deep Love with a matinee show at the Northcote Social Club on Sunday 17 March.

Referred to as his “lost and found album” the long player consists of 11 tracks Brodie has written over his 15 year career that haven't made it onto any of his previous albums.

The intimate and personal album finds the two time ARIA winner returning to simplicity, with tracks succumbing to minimal studio refinement and “trickery”. Brodie is joined on the album by Dean Schulz on bass, Layla and Rhianna Fibbins on harmonies, Chris Brodie on guitar and David Nicholls on drums.

Having formed a reputation for his incredible live performances, this matinee show is one not to be missed.
