The Caxton Street Seafood & Wine Festival is one of the biggest days on the Brisbane social calendar for many people as the legendary street is closed off and turned into a massive party with food, drink and awesome music cranking all through the day.

The first line up announcement for the 2013 event dropped this morning, with plenty of great Australian talent once again set to hit the stage for this year's event. The names they have booked in thus far are as follows:

Ash Grunwald (with Scott Owen (The Living End) and a very special guest), Chance Waters, Mental As Anything, The Choirboys, Tyrone Noonan, Tyler Touché, Yung Warriors, Jakarta Criers, Mr Wilson, Dan England, Pludo, Afrodiza, Latin Fire.

The event happens on Caxton Street on Sunday 5 May; tickets are available through the festival's website as of next Monday morning. They'll set you back $25 + bf.
